It takes a lot of work to keep a steam locomotive in running condition, and we count on dozens of volunteers to do that work. Especially if you have some mechanical experience, we need YOU to come on down to the Minersville Station and get your hands dirty. This fall, we would like to get the locomotive's boiler jacketed: This will finally get her "dressed", and it will also allow the placement of insulation on the boiler, making #113 a lot more efficient (and saving a lot of work for our firemen in the cab!).
